Action from YOU re Mediterranean crisis needed

We are writing yet again about the terrible situation in the Mediterranean, asking you to take some action now.

We have all heard about the situation that so many are in, in war torn countries and brutal regimes. If it was us, and our families, surely we would do all that we could to escape to safety. Paddy Ashdown, ex Royal Marine and former Lib Dem leader, said recently that the British government must play its part in targeting traffickers in North Africa, condemned the current policy for dealing with the issue and called upon the government to do more.

he said.

On June 25 David Cameron will be able to make a difference to those in desperate situations, when European leaders will gather in to discuss proposals put forward to address the humanitarian crisis occurring in the Mediterranean Sea.

Please take the time to write to your MP to ask the Prime Minister to show that British people do care, and to take action.

Much could be done, including issues raised by LD4SOS last year , but we need the Prime Minister to act.
