LD4SOS have written to Nick Clegg and other Lib Dem parliamentarians asking them, in addition to debating the case for or against military intervention in Syria, to take up the cause of refugees from Syria.
We have pointed out that :
We have asked Liberal Democrat MPs and Peers to make reference to this, and demand that support and aid are given by the UK Government to the countries hosting the refugees. Also that those Syrians that arrive in the UK are given the support and recognition that they need. In addition, that the necessary help be given for families that are split by the atrocities in Syria, to be able to get visas to be reunited and join their partner in this country
