The government announced it intends to re-open Campsfield immmigration detention centre.The adjournment debate will take place in the House of Commons on Friday 9 September and is expected to begin at 2:30pm, possibly earlier.
Principal speaker: Layla Moran MP, Oxford West and Abingdon
Those opposed to the expansion of immigration detention, or opposed to immigration detention are asked to gather from 1.15pm in Parliament Square, with a photo op and short speeches at 2pm.
A delegation from the new Oxford-based Coalition to Keep Campsfield Closed will attend.
They would welcome further signatures by MPs to the Early Day Motion on the subject.
