He stressed the importance of leading and not being led. Of looking for solution and not turning the other way. Of giving hope and not despair. ” Because this is not about statistics. This is about people just like you and me. This is about dignity and decency. Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
He was given a spontaneous standing ovation – twice, during his words on the refugee crisis, and we can be proud of the stance he is taking, and the enthusiastic response to this from the party members.
